New Photos

Here are a couple new photos. She scratched herself sometime between 5am and 8am this morning.
When Sarah isn’t wearing her hospital gown, and by that I mean when she has other clothes on, I will get some photos of her and Bryn.

Day 2

Quick update – I am at home; just showered and got into some clean clothes. I also ate a turkey and cheese sandwich – smoked turkey with smoked gouda and pepperjack – and some sliced jalapenos along with lite mayo and spicy brown mustard. I bet you’re so glad you know that.

Arrested Dilation

We have not progressed in 4 hours since Sarah’s water broke, so we are going to have a c section. It’s not what we expected, but the dr. thinks there may not be sufficient room in the bones for the baby’s head to drop down.

I appreciate all the offers to get me a grande, no make it a venti, 185 degree, cinnamon dolce white mocha, non-fat, no whip drink, but truth be told, my heart is racing enough as it is currently. Later I may have one, but I don’t need the added heart beats.

Okay, just finished the “2.30″ check-in. Sarah is still at a 5 so Amy is thinking of adding pitocin. Dr. Allen and her are conversing in the hallway and we should know something soon.

Amy was just in and we moved Sarah from one side to the other since she can’t feel her legs. She said she will come back in an hour and check her progress. We had an ETA of about 16.00, but that was at 8.30 this morning, so I should know more at the next [...]

Dead legs and much more

Dr. Allen (the dr.) just came in told us we’re having a baby today. This, of course, was just after she broke Sarah’s water and told her she’s now at a 5.
