Interview with a Three-Year-Old

6 Feb

During the singing of "Happy Birthday."

Brynleigh turned three while we were in Denver for my brother-in-law’s wedding. We had a little Dora birthday party with our families and (despite the photographic evidence above) I think the Birthday Girl had a great time.

Last week, after we got home, we conducted a little interview over dinner. Here are Brynleigh’s responses:

Fwee!

What’s your favorite color?
Purple. (As Mommy cringes inside. Purple! Say it isn’t so!)

What’s your favorite animal?
Purple Little Bunnies.

Who is your best friend?
Mommy and Daddy. (A diplomat in the making! Ben also asked, “Who do you like better, Mommy or Daddy?” And she said, “Barkley.” Haha!!)

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A princess! (This is God laughing at Mommy.)

What is your favorite movie?
Tangled.

What is your favorite book?
Dora Splora.

What makes you happy?
Milk.

What makes you sad?
Crying.

What is your favorite food?
Pizza.

What is your favorite song?
“We Cry Out”

What games do you like to play?
Train set!
